Spirituals and Other Music of the African Diaspora
A Los Angeles-area treasure for over 40 years, the Jubilee Singers have been heard in over 70 countries, including Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle East, and North and West Africa. The ensemble is the creation of Albert McNeil who has dedicated himself to upholding a choral tradition of excellence with the presentation of the Concert Spiritual and the ever-increasing contributions of African American composers of concert music, opera, and theatre music.

Claremont Chorale
In a Vesper Light
The Claremont Chorale is a 65-voice community choir made up of singers from all walks of life, founded in the city of Claremont in 1968. Gregory Norton, the Chorale’s Music Director since 1993, will lead the Chorale with professional chamber orchestra and soloists in presenting two beloved works that are appropriate to be sung and heard at day’s end: Mozart’s Solemn Vespers and Morten Lauridsen’s modern classic, Lux Aeterna.
